ABACO HEALTH SERVICES BUS HEADING TO THE BAHAMAS FULL OF SUPPLIES
After being in Abaco, and seeing the devastation left by Hurricane Dorian first hand Dr James Hull knew he needed to do more to help the people of Abaco.
Over the past 2 weeks, Dr Hull has been in the United States where he arranged for a mobile medical unit and more supplies using the funds generously donated.
Here is the first look at the Abaco Health Services Mobile Medical Unit.
Once the mobile medical unit arrives in Abaco and as Dr Hull learns more about the need of each community, we will be preparing weekly schedules of where the mobile medical unit will be.
The mobile medical unit will be in Abaco by mid November 2019.
The weekly schedules can be found on the Facebook page for Abaco Health Services (formally known as Marsh Harbour Medical Centre) –
https://www.facebook.com/abacohealthservices/
In the meantime, Dr Hull will be providing medical assistance to as many people as he can as he awaits for his medical equipment and further supplies to arrive.
If you know anyone who needs medical assistance, please message the Abaco Health Services facebook page for now as we are working on establishing communications.
Please help support Abaco Health Services provide free health care to the residences of Abaco and the surrounding Cays including Hope Town, Man-O-War Cay, Green Turtle Cay and Great Guana Cay. https://www.gofundme.com/medical-assistance-for-abaco-baham…
In September 2019, the Bahamas was devastated by Hurricane Dorian and need your help.
On 1 September 2019, the Bahamas was devastated by Hurricane Dorian. The island of Abaco is a magical place, filled with joy and love and the hurricane has taken everything from the residents. Approximately 90 percent of the residents no longer have homes. There is a significant need for urgent medical attention. My uncle, James Hull is a local doctor whose clinic was destroyed. He has lost all his medical equipment, medication and supplies. Despite this, he and my sister Cassandra, a doctor from Canada have returned to Abaco to provide medical assistance to the residents.
Below is an interview my sister did with CBC about the conditions in Abaco. https://www.cbc.ca/player/play/1601432131857 Please help support the relief effort and donate to help purchase much needed medical supplies and necessities to provide medical care to the Abaco people.
This go fund me page will now say that is on behalf of Valerie Shipp (who is my mother) instead of Dr James Hull – that is only because you need to be a Canadian resident to withdrawal the funds! The money will be provided to my uncle Dr James Hull to assist with his medical relief efforts.
